At Vedic Tarika, we value your trust and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to the details you enter on this website.
1. Information We Collect
To generate your report, the form asks for your name, date and time of birth, birth city and PIN or postal code, plus an optional concern. We do not sell this data, and we do not ask you to create an account.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your birth details are used only to calculate your Dasha periods and show your report. They are not saved to a database on our server. Your name stays in your browser and is used to greet you in the report. The report itself is kept in your browser until you close the tab.
3. Outside Services
A few trusted services help make the report possible, and each receives only what it needs:
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim, with Open-Meteo as a backup, receives your birth city and PIN to find the location and its time zone.
- Our astrology calculation service receives your date and time of birth and the location’s coordinates and time zone.
- India Post’s PIN code lookup (api.postalpincode.in) receives what you type in the city and PIN fields, to suggest matches.
- Google reCAPTCHA protects the form from automated abuse. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
- YouTube supplies mantra video thumbnails, and links to YouTube open there.
- Google Translate is loaded only if you choose a language that we don’t provide directly.
4. Data Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information. Our server keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, to keep the service secure and running.
